Now in the I sleep alone
Sweep the streets I used to own

I used to roll the
Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listened as the would sing:
"Now the old king is dead, long live the "

One minute I held the
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my stand
Upon pillars of salt and of sand

I hear Jerusalem are ringing
Roman cavalry choirs are singing
Be my mirror my and
My missionaries in a foreign field

For some reason I can't explain
Once you'd gone there was never
Never an word
That was when I ruled the world

It was the wicked and wild
Blew down the doors to let me in
Shattered and the sound of
People couldn't believe what I'd become

Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver

Be my mirror my sword and shield

Never an honest word
But that was when I ruled the world

I know Saint Peter won't call my name
Never an honest word

Task 1: The importance of ICT in ESO

SUMMARY OF THE LEGAL FRAMEWORK OF ICT IN ESO

Information and Communication Technology, commonly called ICT, is a key element within the Curriculum in ESO according to the LOMCE, the current Spanish legislation on Education, and it is part of the Block 5 in which the transversal elements are described.

Currently, ICT is a key element for all educational stages and all the subjects. In particular, the use of ICT in ESO, the Compulsory Secondary Education, and Bachillerato in Spain and in the English subject has become something essential in the teaching-learning process, because it is an important communication element, helps the students´ self-learning and gets the students to develop the ability to search for, obtain, process and communicate information, and transform it into knowledge. Also, this transversal competence involves the use of technological resources to solve problems efficiently, keeping a critical and reflective attitude when evaluating the available information.

Therefore, the use of ICT in the teaching of the English language is fundamental so that the students learn a foreign language in the today´s society.
